Ski Ruapehu

Come and ski or snowboard Mt Ruapehu and experience endless fun, amongst a collective 1000+ hectares of rideable terrain and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of both Tūroa and Whakapapa ski areas - NZ's largest ski field. Or head East and ride Tūkino, a club operated field also welcome you with open arms.

While last year we had to limit capacity and some facilities due to management around Covid-19, this year we are ALL on across both Tūroa and Whakapapa. That is, all lifts, cafes, rental facilities etc. are all back to FULLY operational this winter season.

Further to our last update, this year we will have the bookable parking system back in place but ONLY across six key weekends from 31 July to 5 September. This system is designed to help manage congestion and capacity over these key weekends. Cutting down the time that it takes for you to get on the snow and enjoying yourself is super important to us. Once you get here, we also want to make your experience as seamless as possible. To help get yourself organized, before visiting, you can buy and book all you need at www.mtruapehu.com. You can also call and talk to one of our team members on our new number 0800 468 235 before your visit.

#sneakaweekday and enjoy all mountain lift passes for just $74 an adult and $49 for youth (5-17 years old) all season, if visiting on a weekday.
