Each of our 6 unique tours includes an iconic rail cart journey along the now decommissioned Stratford-Okahukura heritage railway. The Rail River Combo is the ideal experience for those wishing to discover the Forgotten World by land and from the water, learning about the region's special cultural and pioneering heritage whilst kicking back and enjoying the epic scenery. Travel along 42km of the line and 23km of the majestic Whanganui River. Enjoy a rail-side picnic at the old rural community of Tokirima and indulge in some traditional Kiwi home-baking. Transfers included. 8am or 10am tours.
