The Alpine Centre

The Alpine Centre is your one-stop shop for your outdoor needs! Our rental services include hiking boots, rain jackets, overtrousers, hiking poles, day backpacks, and larger backpacks for those hiking the Tongariro Northern Circuit, sleeping bags, cooking utensils, gas cookers, headlamps, and also child carrier packs. We have over 150 hiking boots available to rent, and much more!

Pop in-store or book your gear online, we offer drop-offs of the gear to local commercial accommodation providers or we can arrange a lock box pick-up. Whatever you fancy, we have you covered, come and visit us or give us a call for more information!
