Our vision is to bring our community
together, especially this year, to stop working so hard, reconnect with each
other and have a laugh, a hug or both, and let our rural community know how
much we appreciate all their hard work.
The event features The Waimarino World Championship Woodchop competition featuring local woodchopping legends, Jack and Shane Jordan, equestrian events and FREE rides all day. There is also a farmers market for you to stock up on some homemade goodies, old-fashioned family games and free competitions to enter on the day. We also have a young farmers competition on the day, a massive lolly scramble, LIVE music on the main stage showcasing our local talent. So come down and join us as we celebrate rural New Zealand!
