All tracks in the Tongariro National Park are open except for the Mangatepopo Track.

Access along Mangatepopo Road to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing is restricted to registered shuttles only, private vehicles cannot enter this area.

Tongariro Alpine Crossing bookings are now open via the DOC website.
