The annual Raetihi Wild Food Competition is back for 2023. The event will start at 10 am with a karakia followed by a korero from the Mayor. Contestants can start entering from 11 am and entries close at 3 pm.

LWFCs are so easy to be a part of, as a competitor simply include AT LEAST one wild ingredient in an entry of your choice.
Hot, cold, liquid, frozen, raw, marinated, smoked, seared, preserved… ANYTHING! All entries are anonymous to our judging panel.
