Come one, come all, to Ohakune’s Carrot Rocket Launch on Saturday 1st of April 2023. This is not a joke!!
Family fun time starts here, as we celebrate the launch of the tallest carrot rocket in the Universe and alongside, unveil the Night-Sky Information Panel.
Dress up and join us from 10.00 am at the Ohakune Carrot Adventure Park. There will be yummy food, vegetables to purchase, garden plants, crafts and carrot-themed gifts at the stalls. Look out for face painting, giveaway's and listen to the music.
Ahoy there -performance by Capt. Festus McBoyle & his motley Pirate Crew! First performance from 10.30am and an afternoon show as well.
We welcome our international guests to the Ohakune Carrot Park arriving at approximately 11.15 am - international YouTube Stars JOLLY with three million followers. The JOLLY team are flying in for the weekend from the UK for the Carrot Launch.
Parking is available in Ohakune township, making it a safe 5 min walk on the pathways to the Ohakune Carrot Park.
Additional parking available via Raetihi-Ohakune Rd entrance.
