Calling all car enthusiasts and motorheads! Get ready for the excitement of New Zealand's 2nd Annual Alpine Vintage & Classic Autoshow, happening on June 1, 2024, during King's Birthday weekend.
The event will once again grace the National Park Village school grounds at the intersection of Buddo and Carroll Streets. Entry for vehicles is free across seven {7} categories, with each class vying for the coveted 'BEST OF CLASS' award:
- Vintage Vehicles (VV): Motor vehicles built between January 1, 1919, and December 31, 1931.
- Post Vintage Vehicles (PVV): Motor vehicles built between January 1, 1932, and December 31, 1945.
- Post War Vehicles (PWV): Motor vehicles built between January 1, 1946, and December 31, 1960.
- Post 1960 Vehicles (P60V): Motor vehicles built between January 1, 1961, and December 31, 1980.
- Post 1980 Vehicles (P80V): Motor vehicles constructed on or after January 1, 1981, and at least 30 years old.
- Customs: Any make or model year vehicle that has been customized to enhance performance, aesthetics, or both.
- 'RUST BUCKET' Class: From jalopies to salvaged rebuilds, the sky's the limit!
To enter your vehicle/s, simply request a No-fee entry application via email at [email protected]. All show entries must be received by Sunday, May 26, 2024.
This year, we're thrilled to introduce a 'Mountain Run' for all entry attendees following the Autoshow on Sunday, June 2 {Rain date for judging in the event]. The gathering will take place back at the Schoolyard grounds at 10 am for a Tea & Coffee 'Mountain Run' to Whakapapa and Ski fields.
Spectators are welcome to join in the excitement for free, with plenty of fun activities for the entire family, including raffles, awards presentation, coffee & BBQ stations, and more! We extend our gratitude to all the entries and volunteer participants from last year's inaugural event, which helped establish a fantastic time for all. This year's AUTOSHOW promises to be even bigger and better!
